Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 July 2026
Summary: blockmaxxing collects no personal data, has no backend, and transmits nothing to us or any third party. Everything runs locally in your browser.

What we collect

Nothing. blockmaxxing has no analytics, no telemetry, no accounts, and no servers. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal or usage data.

Data stored on your device

The extension saves the following only in your browser's local extension storage, on your device, and never sends it anywhere:

Network requests

blockmaxxing communicates only with Twitch's own services (such as gql.twitch.tv and usher.ttvnw.net) as part of loading an ad-free stream — the same servers your browser already contacts to watch Twitch.

The optional, off-by-default proxy fallback is the only exception: if you choose to enable it and enter a proxy URL, the extension sends the current channel name to the proxy server you configured. This is entirely your choice and is disabled by default.

Permissions

Third parties

We do not sell, share, or transfer any data to third parties, because we do not collect any. The extension is open source and can be audited in full.
